Community and Coronavirus news

Our latest information sheet on Community contacts and Coronavirus updates can be downloaded here (text version)

A Trail of 14 posters helping us pray for the staff who keep the NHS working is now available on the top section of the Churchyard. Suitable for young and old!

Sadly, there have been more than 100,000 Covid-19 deaths. To mark this tragedy our Tower Captain tolled the church bell 100 times on Sunday 31st Jan. and Canon Janet said a prayer. See https://youtu.be/oridPxLn5J0

Canon Janet has put together a photo montage of what has been going on during lockdown...

Knit a Teddy
Calling all knitters! Can you help?
Could you please spare an hour or two to knit a little teddy?
Doctors who treat children have found that children who have their own teddy to cuddle get better quicker than those who don’t have one. Each child keeps their own teddy and can take it home, so the doctors need a continual supply. They are very simple and quick to make.
If you can make a little bag for your teddy, that would be most welcome, but if not it doesn’t matter as the teddies are the important item.

Full instructions here.
