About St Laurence Church

The congregation and ministers welcome families and individuals to join us at our weekly Sunday worship and any other time. Please feel free to join any of our social events.

The church has seating for over 200 people, and parking for over 50 vehicles at the neighbouring Pastoral Centre. Access to the church is on the level with one very small step.  There is also a hearing loop for those who are hard of hearing.
The building of the Church of St Laurence is traditional with medieval features and additions that have been madeover the centuries. As a traditional church building it is popular venue for weddings and baptisms.

Our Wardens, Debbie Keeves and Roy Pouncett, are responsible for the church buildings and ensuring that there are people to lead the worship.
Revd Canon Janet Chapman (centre) is our Rector, supported by Father David, our Associate Priest, and Janice, our Reader. Fr Paul and Fr John (not pictured) also help with our services
